Choosing the Best Gin for Your Cherry Martini
Selecting the right gin is crucial for achieving the perfect balance of this martini. And while what you choose will be your personal preference, here are some considerations to keep in mind when choosing your gin:
- Botanical Profile: Opt for a gin with a balanced and nuanced botanical profile. Look for gins that complement the fruity essence of the cherry brandy and provide a harmonious blend of flavors.
- Juniper Dominance: The classic essence of gin lies in juniper. Determine your preference for the intensity of juniper flavors and choose a gin accordingly. A balanced gin will ensure that the cherry flavors shine through without overpowering the other ingredients.
