Jazz up your favorite salad with this semi-homemade Tangy Honey Lemon French Salad Dressing . This zippy salad dressing is tastebud tingling and comes together quickly with staple ingredients.
Salad is often my go-to lunch. Since I mostly work at home, it’s often the easiest thing for me to throw together. I always have lettuce, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs and other random veggies to throw into a big bowl for the perfect lunch. Most importantly, I usually always have a mason jar full of this Tangy Honey Lemon French Salad Dressing hanging out in my fridge.
This dressing is semi-homemade and consists of doctoring up a bottle of my favorite bottled French dressing from the grocery store. It’s kind of like doctoring up a boxed cake mix, making it better and tastier in the end. This tangy salad dressing is one of three homemade salad dressings I keep pretty consistently available in my kitchen; Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing and Creamy Gorgonzola and Parmesan Salad Dressing are the other two dressings I cannot live without.
Do you have a favorite salad dressing? Is it homemade or store-bought? I’d love to know about it in the comments.
Does Salad Dressing Help Absorb Nutrients
Studies have shown eating fresh veggies (like salads) with fat, such as salad dressings or cheese helps our bodies absorb beneficial nutrients found in vegetables. Lycopene and beta-carotene (both found in fresh veggies) have been shown to help prevent heart disease and cancer. Basically, salad dressing in moderation is a good thing!

What Is The Best Salad Dressing
When it comes to taste, only you can decide what is best for you. It would be hard for anyone to decide what salad dressing might taste best for each individual. However, is taste really that subjective? I know salt in general is very broad when it comes to how much to add; think table salt vs kosher salt. However, other ingredients like spices need to be tweaked when it comes to pleasing a crowd. Most restaurants have found a way to cater to the masses and most people leave pleased with their meals. So again, is taste really subjective after all? I’m still trying to figure it out.
This picture is for everyone who can’t wait for the actual salad to be made. You know who you are.
There are so many salad dressings I love and I wish I could rotate through all of them more often. More of my favorite salad dressings include Creamy Feta Dressing (it’s keto-friendly). I love dipping veggies into this Avocado-Lime Dressing. This salad has a Rosemary-Garlic Vinaigrette I can’t get over and I’m obsessed with the Old Spaghetti Factory’s Creamy Pesto Salad Dressing.
