I can’t think of a better sweet treat to snack on while watching all those football games than this pumpkin spice Chex mix. It’s crunchy, delicious and unbelievably hard to stop eating once you allow yourself to indulge.
If you are absolutely set with having candy corn in your Chex mix, stir it into the Chex mixture once it has completely cooled. However, this recipe is completely enjoyable without it.
How To Make Your Own Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix
If you have the ingredients in your pantry, make your own pumpkin pie spice mix, it’s so easy to do.
Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix Recipe
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground allspice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cloves
Whisk all ingredients to together in a small bowl and store in a jar to use all season.
How To Make Chex Mix In the Air Fryer
Start with combining all ingredients in a large bowl, making sure to coat all ingredients well.
Pour Chex mixture into the air fryer and air fry according to directions in the full recipe. It’s important to open and shake the air fryer drawer every five minutes in order for the cereal mixture to cook and brown evenly.
Cool completely before eating.

Air Fryer Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tsps pumpkin spice
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
- 2 cups mini pretzels
- 1 cup pecan halves
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together the brown sugar, butter, pumpkin spice, and vanilla. Stir in the cinnamon, pretzels and pecans to the sugar mixture.
- Place Chex mixture in the air fryer at 300°F for 10 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to make it cooks evenly.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely before eating.
