Good to have you back. Even here in Tel Avivisrael we read your blog and like it and you very much.

  2. HoneyB 2

    yum on all of it!

  3. Thanks for remembering us even though you have so much going on. I want to try to make everything because it all looks so good. I’m thinking the kids will love me if I make those cupcakes!

  4. Even though I am a Canadian you have me longing for this 4th of July BBQ:D

  5. Thanks so much, Cathy! Love all of these, especially the very enticing cold drinks! Do you think I could get a cabana boy to come camping with us this weekend and serve these up to me around the campfire? I think Mr. GFE will be busy mowing grass, cutting firewood, etc. ;-)

This is quite a spread! I’m going the semi-lazy root this year, and hosting a pot-luck. I’m making burgers and am utterly intrigued by the slider recipe technique of baking them in a sheet pan and then cutting them. A heck of a lot easier, but will the guests let me get away with it??

  7. Donna 7

I love you for posting this. I am always amazed at the quality of food you have. They all look fantastic, how to choose. But anything better than Robert redford is a must try. Nice Nice round up!

  8. Yes, the peach margaritas are great! We’re having them on the 4th again. Now everyone expects them at our get togethers! all the time

  9. A 4oJ toast to your being PODless in the coming day. Thanks for the great suggestions and lineup of goodies.

I made firecracker cupcakes with pop rocks last 4th of July, but I baked mine in china tea cups. They were so pretty, and everyone loved them…except my smallest fussbudget, who picked off the pop rocks. We must have been thinking alike last summer!

  26. annbb 26

Where to begin??? They all look fabulous!

  27. Kayola 27

Those Blue Sky Potatoes remain a huge hit around here from the last time I made them! YUM on everything! Too bad you don’t have all of these currently made and waiting at the back of POD #3! That’d inspire some unpacking!!

  35. Juliana 35

    Great post…love them all…specially the drinks…yummie! Have a great 4th!

  36. Lisa 36

So many gorgeous recipes to choose from! I’m recovering from a trip to Ashland and can really use the inspiration. Since we’re having perfect BBQ weather here, so unusual for a 4th of July weekend in this part of the world, I definitely need to get something going on.

  37. Beth 37

Wow. I just ate and those recipes make me hungry….Not easy reading this blog while pregnant!

  38. I remember every single one of those and think maybe that blue drink would hit the spot! Talk about being on a roll…
    what no mess snap shots?
    inquiring minds want to know!

  39. Cathy 39

Thanks for all the great ideas! They look fantastic!!

  40. OMG Cathy–my head is spinning! I want it all! At this point, I plan on making the sliders, chili dogs and cupcakes–those we’ll make for sure and I’m still figuring out which drink and maybe some sides. I can’t wait!!

  41. Kaitlin 41

Thanks for passing these along! They all look AMAZING! I’ve made the chicken and nectarine kebabs-very satisfying-but I can’t wait to try your peach margarita!

I’m so looking forward to reading about the growth and development of your vineyard, by the way! Glad you made the move okay!

  42. Kim 42

Glad that you are all safe and sound in your new home. Great line-up of food choices, have a wonderful holiday.

  43. Holy Moly woman! Each dish looks better than the next…and those drinks, yum! Have a very happy and safe 4th!!

  44. LilSis 44

WOW!! That’s an awesome selection of recipes, Cathy! I can’t wait to make the sliders for my son and my husband would think he’d died and gone to heaven if I made him the Reuben Dip. That’s his favorite sandwich. And, I love the Blue Sky Potatoes.

Thanks for putting together such a great selection! Happy 4th!

  45. All of this looks amazing. Now, I feel like cooking up a storm…lol. Nice pics, food looks amazing!

  46. pam 46

    So many ideas…so little time!

  47. Julie 47

Those all look wonderful! I’d totally take one of those dogs right now :)

  48. Cassie 48

You had me at Fuzzy Melba’s…

  49. Yum! Ruben dip looks so interesting, will have to give that a try. Just found your blog and I’m in love!

  50. It is well known that cash makes us independent. But how to act when someone does not have cash? The only one way is to receive the home loans and just commercial loan.

  51. If you do this, you’ll be sure to stay de-motivated.If you have energy, you might feel like doing something. You can’t have that! A diet full of junk food combined with no exercise is the recipe for staying de-motivated.Keep telling yourself how bad everything else is.

  52. Do not enough cash to buy a building? Don’t worry, just because that’s real to receive the credit loans to solve such kind of problems. Thence get a commercial loan to buy everything you want.
