Fourth of July Recipe Ideas
Here are ideas to round out your Fourth of July menus. We are still unpacking...only half a POD to go! But seriously the mess here is incredible. We will survive though...

Thanks so much, Cathy! Love all of these, especially the very enticing cold drinks! Do you think I could get a cabana boy to come camping with us this weekend and serve these up to me around the campfire? I think Mr. GFE will be busy mowing grass, cutting firewood, etc.

This is quite a spread! I'm going the semi-lazy root this year, and hosting a pot-luck. I'm making burgers and am utterly intrigued by the slider recipe technique of baking them in a sheet pan and then cutting them. A heck of a lot easier, but will the guests let me get away with it??

I love you for posting this. I am always amazed at the quality of food you have. They all look fantastic, how to choose. But anything better than Robert redford is a must try. Nice Nice round up!

Yes, the peach margaritas are great! We're having them on the 4th again. Now everyone expects them at our get togethers! all the time

Mmmmmm! What a wealth to choose from. I already know we are definitely making the sliders, but I think we're going to go with the cupcakes and the pineapple too!

I made firecracker cupcakes with pop rocks last 4th of July, but I baked mine in china tea cups. They were so pretty, and everyone loved them...except my smallest fussbudget, who picked off the pop rocks. We must have been thinking alike last summer!

Those Blue Sky Potatoes remain a huge hit around here from the last time I made them! YUM on everything! Too bad you don't have all of these currently made and waiting at the back of POD #3! That'd inspire some unpacking!!

So many gorgeous recipes to choose from! I'm recovering from a trip to Ashland and can really use the inspiration. Since we're having perfect BBQ weather here, so unusual for a 4th of July weekend in this part of the world, I definitely need to get something going on.

OMG Cathy--my head is spinning! I want it all! At this point, I plan on making the sliders, chili dogs and cupcakes--those we'll make for sure and I'm still figuring out which drink and maybe some sides. I can't wait!!

WOW!! That's an awesome selection of recipes, Cathy! I can't wait to make the sliders for my son and my husband would think he'd died and gone to heaven if I made him the Reuben Dip. That's his favorite sandwich. And, I love the Blue Sky Potatoes.
