An easy dinner to put together in the slow cooker, this Super Saucy Chicken Over Angel Hair Pasta will be waiting for you when you get home.
Here I go again, posting a delicious, but not so pretty slow-cooker meal. Sometimes the uglier the food, the better it tastes. Wouldn’t you somewhat agree?
I do love the sauce in this dish…there is so much of it!! The extra sauce is perfect to sit on top of a bed of angel hair pasta….yummmm. This quick and easy Slow Cooker Super Saucy Chicken over Angel Hair Pasta does call for condensed soup. If you prefer not to use a canned version, you can always make your golden mushroom soup from scratch.
There are so many easy dinner options out there to choose from it can be hard to pick. Two of my favorites to are this Sausage Tortellini Soup and this 15-Minute Mexican Chicken Soup with Avocado. Both are so tasty.
It’s so nice to come home to a meal that’s hot and ready. Just boil some pasta and dinner is served. This is one of those meals you can get on the table after sport’s practice or the PTA meeting. Comfort food at it’s finest.
Do not add any salt or seasonings, the ingredients have plenty to make a flavorful dish. Let me know how yours turns out.
FYI…it paired perfectly with our Pinot Blanc…for those of you who have a bottle or two around.
There are so many options when it comes to making comfort food dishes and I’d like to share some other options with you. This Cheesy Beef Goulash is one of my favorites. And this Slow Cooker Chile Colorado Beef is something I make again and again. This Gouda Bacon Macaroni and Cheese is on my list to try. And who doesn’t love a hearty bowl of Beef Stew? Give them all a try when you find the time.
One year ago I made this amazing Layered Greek Dip and you need to try it for game day. Two years ago this Sour Cream-Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake was on my brunch table and remains a favorite recipe. Three years ago I wondered about this; How Do You Afford It ?

Looks fantastic! I wish I had a bottle or two of your wine around. Stupid Massachusetts, one vote makes a difference my ass. Heh.
Cassie says
YUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!
Linda says
Bob I second the Stupid Massachusetts for most of our ridiculous laws not just the wine law.
Caryn says
Tried this yesterday, and is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!!
Didn’t change a thing!

Cathy says

Lady George says
I have a double batch of this in the crock pot at the moment. It smells heavenly!
Kara says
I’ve had this recipe for the oven for a few years, and it is delicious. Now, I’ll have to try it in the crock pot.
Nina says
I made this and it was fantastic!!! I added sliced onions may also try red and yellow bell peppers next time too!!! My family and kids loved it!!!
Cathy says
Thanks for letting me know!
Dianne Johnson says
Shoot, Cathy, it looks good as it is, but a sprinkle of chopped chives or green onions would perk it up. I can’t wait to make it, but at the moment my crock-pot is cooking Salsa Chicken and a new recipe will have to wait a couple of days. ~sigh~
Janice says
i am making this right now, and it smells soooooo good. I hope that it tastes as good as it smells. The only difference I made to this recipe, was that I used 2 lbs of sliced mushrooms. Can’t wait to eat it.
Denise says
Awesome recipe. Love anything with cream cheese. My 92 year old mother cleaned her plate and that doesn’t happen too often. Hubby went back for seconds.
Melody Joyce says
I want to make this soo bad! I gotta find a Gluten free mushroom soup first. or do you have a homemade recipe I could use in replace of the canned store bought stuff?
Melody Joyce says
P.S. I have family that live there in McMinnvile!! My uncle, Rev. Harry Wilson and my cousin Heather WIlson.

Bob and Linda — I recently moved to Utah from Texas, and let me tell you that Utah’s inane wine and liquor laws meet or better any state’s weird laws — ever hear of the Zion Curtain? No, I hadn’t either before coming here = this law requires restaurants that serve alcohol have a wall (often made of frosted glass) to keep patrons from actually seeing bartenders mixing drinks! Go figure. As residents often say, “That’s Utah.”

Everyone – husband (not a huge fan of chicken), 12yo daughter (need I say more?), son’s GF (who the list for meat she CAN eat is shorter than what she can’t) – LOVES LOVES LOVES this … as do I. Having tried to cheat and do it in a series of skillets and casserole dishes, I can attest that the slow cooker is THE way to go. We usually serve it over sticky rice making it the ultimate comfort food. So. Darn. Good.
Whitney says
Excellent! I also doubled the mushrooms. I think I may use rice or broccoli instead of pasta.
Betty Hines says
What can i use in place of the wine??
Cathy says
Broth.
Laura Smith says
I am going to try this ASAP. The only thing I am going to change is to use boneless skinless chicken thighs, I like them better for flavor and their texture in the slow cooker.
Shannon says
I was thinking of doing the exact same thing. I’ve had varying results with chicken breasts in the crock pot.
Barbara says
will it be any good if i leave the mushrooms out? Can’t stand them!
Catherine Doucher says
This Angel Chicken looks really good; however, if I don’t have the nutritional information, I won’t make it. Is there a place on your site that would have this information?
Thanks

So don’t laugh at ,,, co wanted to do this recipe I just knew I had every ingredient to make this till I got home late from work! I didn’t have nothing but the dang chicken breasts! Lol! So…. I used a pack of ranch dressing, cream of mushroom, polish kielbasa sausage and Ă·everything else a few drops of gravy master (browning) for color( no wine) But same amount of milk for the liquid ….. AWWORTHY AWSOME SAUSE looked like twins !! Color and all!!! ,, This couldn’t have been a more inspiring, why? Because i wouldn’t have ever combined any if these ingredients into one dish at all on my own and I’m a Caterer and a Beautician very limited time single mom so fast easy and appliance are my life savers! Now this recipe was too! Thanks for sharing!
Laurel Johnson says
The flavors in this dish were fantastic! I halved the recipe, and it still made a lot, enough for 4. There was a little bit left over and my husband ate it for breakfast the next morning, he liked it so much! Definitely a keeper recipe, thanks for sharing it!
Sabrina says
Can you send me the Oven version of this recipe, please? I am in-between homes right now and I don’t have a slow cooker.
Cathy says
Sorry, I’ve never made it in the oven.
DAISY says
