Caramel Toffee Fruit Dip

Move over…there’s a new “crack” in town.  And this dip is definitely it.  Don’t make it unless you plan on over-indulging or you have many friends around to help you eat it. I promise you, there won’t be any left.

It’s so delicious, especially when served with tart Granny Smith apples.  The sweet and sour balance each other out and make for this wonderful food-dipping experience.

This is perfect for your upcoming Halloween party (serve in a hollowed out pumpkin).  It will also be great for Thanksgiving, Christmas….okay, pretty much any holiday or gathering.

It will take you five minutes to make. Everyone will love you.

Caramel Toffee Fruit Dip
From Our Best Bites

1 8 ounce package of cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 a bag of Heath toffee bits (there is only one size, find them next to the chocolate chips)

Beat cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg until smooth.  Stir in toffee bits.  Place in a serving bowl and serve with Granny Smith apples or fruit of your choice.  This can also be pre-made and placed back in the refrigerator, it will not stiffen up.

I want that dip so bad right now, but cannot have the chocolate. It looks like something I would definitely over indulge in if I could eat chocolate. (allergic to caffeine). I am definitely a fan of caramel and butterscotch though. White chocolate is fine also, that is why my favorite cookie is White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. Really not a big sacrifice, no being able to eat chocolate, but so many dessert recipes are chocolate laden! I will just look at the photo and drool! :))

    @ Barbie with a T
The Heath Toffee bits in a bag are really just the toffee bits, not crushed up Heath Bars. So there is no Chocolate in the bag. Enjoy!

  7. I officially love you for this. This dip looks like heaven.

  8. Wow. I’d be using that to dip everything, not just fruit! Heck, I’d eat it like a pudding. ;)

This is a staple at Halloween for us! I have been making this for a few years, only I mix in a tablespoon of Kahlua. Yummmmmmmm
