This Apple Spice Dump Cake is as easy as it gets, but the warm, spiced flavors make it feel like you spent hours in the kitchen. It’s a no-hassle dessert that’s perfect for relaxed nights in.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish thoroughly.
Evenly spread the two cans of apple pie filling across the bottom of the dish.
2 (21 oz.) cans apple pie filling (this one is my favorite)
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pie filling, then gently pat it down.
1 (15 oz.) box spice cake mix
Add the caramel bits on top of the cake mix.
1/4 cup caramel baking bits
Slice the butter sticks into 30 thin pats (about 15 pats per stick) and arrange them in columns over the cake mix.
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
Bake, uncovered, for 35–40 minutes, until the top is golden. Remove from the oven and drizzle top with caramel sauce.
1/4 cup caramel sauce
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream (optional) and more caramel sauce on top if you like..
