Yikes my previous post only had 4 stars. This is definitely a 5 star recipe. So, I’m redoing my submission.

My husband has a health issue that limits certain acidic foods and red spices. I came across this recipe and it’s awesome. So much flavor. It’s a keeper. He said it could be used on pasta as well.

My husband has a health issue that limits red foods, ie: acidic foods and spicy spices. I love spicy, acidic foods so substituting has been hard. I made this yesterday and we both declared this a winner. He said this would make a great pasta sauce. Thanks for posting. Finally a sauce with flavor.

This is delicious! I will omit the salt next time I make it. We don’t eat a lot of salt. In my opinion, the cheese provides enough.

I always order white sauce on take-out pizza but I had no idea it was so easy to make. This recipe is a keeper, the perfect sauce for our chicken bacon pizza.
