This is the third time I’m making this soup…and it is definitely my grandkid’s favorite cheese soup recipe. As a previous poster mentioned, my only change to this recipe is the addition of two finely chopped carrots at the request of the grandkids, who are carrot lovers. The great thing about this soup is that it appeals to adults as well as kids. This soup is definitely in my “soup rotation” during the fall and winter months. I followed your directions precisely and the kids agree that this soup tastes just like cool ranch Doritos. I’m making it for the second time for today’s lunch and the only thing I added was finally chopped carrots (2) which I sautéed with the onion. My kids love carrots and requested the addition.
