This is DELICIOUS! Thank you for sharing this recipe! I didn’t have cream of celery on hand, so I used cream of mushroom, which was fabulous! Next time I make this, I’ll double the mushrooms. I also used low sodium chicken broth in place of the water. Fabulous results!

Extraordinary Pig Recipe on a chilly fall night! I used your recipe but substituted some ingredients as that’s what I had on hand. Here is my adult version:

Had a bottle of red wine open so I reduced the kielbasa and fresh sliced mushrooms with 1/2 cup.
I did not have the soup so I used OVOO about 1/4 cup. Although I would definitely use the soup next time. Poured the bag of frozen peas right from the freezer and they did not get mushy.
Decided not to use rice and subbed with a wheat orzo pasta. Cooked the pasta and then added at the end. Saved some of the pasta liquid to keep the moisture in the dish. Also added chopped fresh sage springs to garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and the cheese.

Love quick skillet dinners like this for busy weeknight nights (or lazy weekends)! 🙂 And my 17 year old just got his own car a few months ago, and it has been heaven. No more running around constantly for me, which was even more of a pain for me because I have a toddler I have to strap into a car seat every time we had to take him somewhere or pick him up. 😉 He’s a pretty good driver, so I don’t worry too much.

I used think chasing toddlers around was busy until now, my tween-age kids run me ragged, all the driving is nuts! We live on quick meals, this is going go into the rotation for sure!

Pinning and sharing! I make kielbasa for the kids sometimes weekly, but I just heat the kielbasa, cut it up and serve it. This looks so wonderful! I can’t wait to try it!
