Yes, I used Candiquik Coating. I think I may have given it that extra 15 seconds when I didn’t need to. The next day I melted the coating for a shorter time and it was thicker in the tray. Went on thicker and worked better. Of course, I would have had to give it a little more time in the microwave again to do more than 12 pretzel rods.

Funny…I have spent the day looking for patriotic M&M’s…couldn’t find them (I’m not surprised). I got my sprinkles at my regular grocery store. These type of items sell out fast which is likely the case.
