*Disclaimer: I am not great in the kitchen and this was my first time using an air fryer.*

I just made these, and they were definitely a hit! I added a tablespoon of garlic powder to the dry ingredients and lightly salted them after they were cooked. Make sure you gently shake off any extra crumbs after you dip them in the dry ingredients. I Was playing with my new instapot duo, so I made these with a few different types of pickles just to test it out (and because I already had several open jars of pickles on hand.) The dill stackers were way to big and the breading didn’t stick well. I also tried cutting them into strips which helped a little. I also tried the dill ovals they are smaller than the stackers but bigger than the usual dill chip pickle. Unlike the stackers, the ovals have ridges. The batter adhered to them much better than the stackers, but the size still meant the children had to eat them in multiple bites which created a crumbly mess. Finally, I tried the dill pickle chips. These are where I should have started. lol They are small and have ridges. They are what is traditionally used for fried pickles and worked better than any of the others. Overall, these are flavorful, filling, and were a wonderful afternoon treat. I will be making these again!

That's actually really good considering what fried pickles would be with regular white flour. If you omit the almond flour you won't have any breading and therefore, just regular wet pickles.
