I made these today, only using half butter/half shortening, added vanilla and nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mixture. The dough was really loose, so I chilled it overnight. This made 34 cookies, all beautiful and very good. Thank you for sharing.

I loved these cookies! They were like eating banana bread in a cookie form. I even subbed butter for shortening and they turned out great!
