I came across this recipe on twitter. I now have a NEW favorite go to hot dog. I have loved Franks Buffalo and Red Hot sauce for a very long time, I never would have thought of putting it on a hot dog. Then to add Blue Cheese, another favorite of mine with come diced celery. I have eaten chicken wings and chicken fingers with this combination for many years, but now I have a new food item to talk about and get others to try. Thanks Cathy. I have found several other recipes on Noble Pig I am looking forward to trying. Something you may want to try with this or anything else Buffalo is a Blue Cheese Dip. Very easy to make: Equal parts of Mayonnaise and Sour Cream, add as much or as little of crumbled Blue Cheese as you like to it and then a little lemon juice (to your taste) Let sit in the fridge for a couple of hours or longer to let the flavors meld with one another. This is great Dip you can add to the Buffalo Hot Dog, Chicken Fingers/Wings or even fresh Vegetables.

I was too tired the other night to make dinner, so grabbed some hot dogs out of the freezer. No buns, but Roly likes his in a tortilla anyway. Tried your idea of Buffalo hot dogs and we both just loved it. And, I'm not even a hot dog fan. Thanks for a great idea and will be doing these often on dog-tired days.
