It’s always fun to see what recipes make it to the top every year. As usual, some of the tastiest things you can find on this site were the most popular. Funny how that happens.
I want to thank each and every one of you who continue to visit and make this site possible. Your support took my fun hobby and turned it into a business and a job I love doing every, single day.
I wish all of you health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year.
And now for the Top 13 Recipes of 2013….starting with #13…
#13: Easy-Artisan Roasted Garlic-Rosemary Bread Lots of you have had great success with this recipe, even those claiming they cannot bake bread. It is a staple in my own household and it would be rare not to find a loaf rising in my kitchen.
#12: How to Make the Best Banana Nut Muffins I am always shocked to see how many people are searching for banana nut muffin recipes, it seems everyone is trying to perfect their recipe. In this post I share a few secrets on how I get the best banana nut muffins every time.
#11: Pork Tenderloin with Honey Mustard Sauce Honey mustard sauce is a classic pairing when it comes to pork tenderloin and everyone is looking for a new version to serve to their family. I will say this is one of our favorite dinners around here and it’s so easy to make.
#10. The Best Yellow Birthday Cake with Chocolate Icing This was my son’s 11th Birthday Cake. He has always been a Hershey’s Bar fanatic, so I decorated what really is the perfect yellow cake recipe. Hershey’s even picked up this post and shared it with their followers. Needless to say, it has been an insane hit ever since.
#9: Mini Crab Cakes Anything “mini” is always very popular, but these have taken on a force of their own. They seem to be very prevalent at showers, baby and bridal alike. Once they have been made, people have returned to this recipe again and again to serve at their next party. They really are delicious with their outer, panko crust.
#8: East Carolina Barbecue Sauce for Pulled Pork There is a reason this recipe is so popular…it is the absolute best pulled pork sauce you’ll ever make (in my opinion). It’s tangy and the perfect accompaniment to any pulled pork sandwich, I always have it in the fridge. A must try if you haven’t already.

#6 Reuben Dip A little dip can pack a good punch. A favorite from Halloween to the Super Bowl, in what I call “dip season”, each bite will have you thinking you are indulging in a Reuben sandwich. It’s not a bad thing.
#5: Pepperoni Pizza Puffs I started making this for play dates several years ago and kids loved them. They are these perfect, little, bites of pizza heaven that aren’t greasy and fit nicely into little mouths (adults love them too). Surprise the family and make them today.
#4 Gnocchi Mac n’ Cheese This recipe is pure decadence. The Gruyere cheese puts it over the top and makes you forget about anything else on your plate. I added lobster for Christmas and it was an amazing side dish…wow.

#3 Dill Pickle Soup I made this soup on a whim and I am so happy I did. Its popularity has amazed me and rightfully so…it’s absolutely mouthwatering. My mouth puckers when I think of taking a bite and not a month goes by in my kitchen without making a pot. Try it with some crusty bread.
#2: Two Ingredient Pumpkin Cake with Apple Cider Glaze Every August through November the searches for this recipe start to climb. It really is one the easiest and tastiest cakes to make and the reasons it remains so darn popular. Have you tried it? You will not be disaapointed.
#1: Pasta Pie Maybe it’s the presentation, but this recipe remains the most highly celebrated and searched on my site since posting it over five years ago. It really is impressive when served and it tastes great too. Kids especially love their pasta standing at attention and served like a pie.
