Top 13
Sometimes dessert is all we need and other times it’s the perfect ending to a meal. However you choose to indulge, there is nothing better than a sweet treat to carry you through the afternoon or a nice way to end the evening.

I was really excited to see some of these recipes in the Top 13, you all have such great taste! I can vouch that every one of these recipes will bring a smile to your face and leave you with a memorable moment of deliciousness. 

And now, the Top 13…starting with #13 of course….

#13: Gratineed Pineapple One of my all time favorite recipe concoctions. It’s perfect to serve as a couple’s dessert, in other words, one large pineapple can serve four. It reminds me of our favorite vacation stop and I’m vowing to make this more in 2014.

#12 Banana Cake with Cream Cheese-Sour Cream Frosting Sometimes simplicity is always best. Banana cake takes the usual banana bread up a notch with this yummy frosting, while the walnuts and chocolate chips on top add to the yumminess.

#11: Old-Fashioned Chocolate Cake with Glossy Chocolate Icing This is the cake my oldest son begs for all the time. It really is one of the best chocolate cake recipes out there. You can see from the picture how moist it is!

#10: Better than Robert Redford Icebox Cake Yes, Robert Redford, is he still a thing? I guess we could modernize the name of this cake but the recipe itself is classic. Layers of yummy with a walnut crust. It’s kind of amazing, especially with the chocolate curls on top. Perfect to serve to a crowd.
