So happy to be a Featured Plum Organics blogger! While this is a sponsored conversation, all opinions are my own.
Plum Organics knows how busy and crazy it can be when it comes to those few hours right after school. There is sports practice, homework, dentist appointments, errands to run and the kids are always hungry. (Mine are of course starving.)
Plum Organics asked me about my “afterschool essential” items for my kids. The answer was simple, easy to serve snacks they love (such as, Plum Organics Slam Dunx) and a Kindle Fire. These are hands down the most important thing I need to make life easier until dinnertime!
My boys are avid readers. They were reading so many books that I was running out of room on the bookshelves. Their Kindle Fire’s have been the greatest asset when it comes to getting their reading done on the go. Regardless of where we are, the Kindle helps complete their schoolwork at a decent time and provides entertainment when necessary.
With the Kindle in their lap and Slam Dunx in their hands, I rarely get complaints about making several stops before coming home. That is something this Mom loves.
Plum Organics recognizes what it takes to make the afterschool routine a little more pleasurable. As a result, they are sponsoring this amazing Afterschool Essentials Gift Bag. You too can win a Kindle Fire!! Is that not awesome? This bag was packed by Mom’s so you can guarantee it is filled with everything you need.
Best part is, there are two places you can enter to win, the Plum Organics Facebook App (download coupons there too) and right here with the Rafflecopter widget below.

We are big on after school smoothies made with bananas and almonds or coconut milk, some plain non fat yogurt, berries, peanut butter and when in season, (here’s the super secret delicious ingredient…big black frozen grapes…awesome substitute for ice!) Along with being a wonderful nutritious after school treat, these smoothies allow for non-rushed dinners, as tummies are well satisfied for at least a couple of hours after drinking one of them!
