We have so much to be thankful for, more than could ever be listed here. While this year has had its challenges, the gratitude we have in our hearts for family, friends and all of you is abundant and overflowing. As the epic poet John Milton once wrote, “Gratitude bestows reverence, allowing us to encounter everyday epiphanies, those transcendent moments of awe that change forever how we experience life and the world.” …I couldn’t agree more.
So as we observe Thanksgiving Day, may we all find the “little things” in our lives to celebrate and let us all find reflection in the following sentiment…
“To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common–this is my symphony.” ~William Henry Channing
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Peace to you all.
