(Giveaway) Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender ($599)

Wolf Gourmet High performance Blender Giveaway 599
I am so excited to be partnering with and sharing this Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender with all of you. As many of you know, I am a huge fan of all Subzero-Wolf appliances, large and small. I have even visited their factory in Wisconsin and saw first hand what care goes into making their products.

When the box arrived for this blender, I knew without even opening it how well-made it would be...it's heavy folks (which is a good thing). And it's beautiful with its sleek, modern design. This is a blender you proudly display on your counter.

Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender Smoothie Setting
I knew I had to give it a test drive with my favorite Strawberry-Banana Quinoa Smoothie recipe. As you can expect this blender did not have an issue crushing the ice and blending all the ingredients into a perfectly, smooth smoothie. So many blenders fail when it comes to crushing ice, but it will not be something you need to worry about with this appliance. With the large capacity jar, I was able to make one large batch for the whole family instead of separate runs. Such a time saver in the long run.

Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender Smoothie Puree Setting
Making my Winter Root Vegetable Puree was even easier than I expected. And again I was able to double my recipe and make enough for leftovers with the large jar capacity. Using the tamper I was able to help move the ingredients around and puree it to my preferred thickness level. The power level settings help with that. I even had a go with my Crispy Chicken Coconut Lime Soup. Normally I do not use a full-sized blender to make this soup because I can't control the speed of the pulse and it becomes too thin. This worked perfectly for the job.

Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender Soup Setting
However, if you really want to talk making soup...the friction of the blades coming in contact with the food inside the jar over the course of the 5:45 soup setting, heats the contents of the blender. If you are using fresh ingredients, just puree after cooking and it's time to eat. My next experiment with this setting is going to be my Creamy Red Pepper Coconut Soup. I won't have to pour it back into the pot for heating. I can use the fitted emulsion cap to drizzle the cream into the soup while it heats. This makes things so easy.

Features Recap:

Serious Speed with Precise Control
Ultra-responsive variable speed powered by the 2.4 peak HP motor propels the blades to speeds over 210 mph. A twist of the dial allows you to blend ingredients to your exact preference. This blender is fast.

Intuitive LCD Control Panel
Keeps you informed about details as you blend, from blending time to selected speed or program setting.

4 Program Settings for Predictably Delicious Results
Program settings offer consistent results and walk-away convenience:
Smoothie • Ice crush • Puree • Soup

Pulse at Any Speed
Pulsing function works with any manual blending speed, from the lowest to the highest.

Ideal Size
Perfect for entertaining and family meals, the extra-large 64 oz. Tritan™ jar is shatterproof and BPA-free. The blender is perfectly sized to fit under standard-size cabinets.

Classic Stainless Steel
Stainless steel and die-cast construction is a seamless complement to Wolf cooking appliances. Choose from Wolf signature red, black or brushed stainless control knobs.

Thoughtful Additions
Emulsion cup to add ingredients slowly into the blender jar for foolproof mayonnaise, dressings, and marinades. The filler cap with measurement marks is convenient for cocktails. Mixing thick or frozen mixtures is effortless with the included tamper.

So, if you've now pictured it in your kitchen, can't live without it and imagined all the wonderful things you will be making, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post by 11:59 PM Pacific Time, January 17, 2016 telling me....

I have not owned a blender in decades. I have read many recipes but have never made smoothies. I would start with power smoothies as my first try. I’m sure the family would be thrilled if I tried a dessert as my second recipe!

“What’s the first thing you would make with your new Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender?” I’ll make my kale, apple, and banana (or whatever else is laying around) breakfast protein shake. Or if it arrives in the mail later in the day, a 8 cup pitcher of margaritas!

I will start by making a smoothie with powdered peanut butter, protein power, bananas, cocoa, ice and almond milk. In the future, I can see using this to blend my broccoli and squash soups, make fun party drinks, and it would be such a thrill to finally be able to add smoothies to my menu! I have never had a good blender capable of crushing ice before, and I would love it!

What to choose??? Roasted Tomato and Mushroom Bisque! A couple of years ago, I did some marketing research with a Vitamix blender and had no idea what I was missing until it was gone when the study was over! It had some limitations though as it was made more for a single person versus a family. I made tons of stuff with it and have 3 kids so it was such a timesaver, but alas, with 3 kids spending all that money just wasn’t in the cards!

I haven’t had a blender in so long..last one I had from 1973- 1998 .. I remember making ham salad in it for my hubby’s lunch and him walking through the kitchen saying ” I think the ham’s burning” .. I turned around to see smoke coming from the bottom of the blender. Needless to say he took a peanut butter & jelly sandwich to work that day. I don’t know why I didn’t replace it. It was one appliance I used often enough to burn it up after 25 yrs of use. I would love to see if they still make them well enough to last 25 yrs. of daily use.

The first thing I would make with the Wolf High Performance Blender is my homemade pasta sauce. I make it from scratch and use a blender to blend whole tomatoes to the proper consistency. My pasta loving family would be elated not only to end the tireless complaints from me trying to blend those tomatoes properly, but mostly for the satisfaction of a delicious sauce!

I would love to run out and buy a better blender to assist in making healthy smoothies, shakes, soups etc for us, but I was laid off from my job the Monday after Thanksgiving and still have not found work. :( The first thing I would make is my FAVE green smoothie…PINEAPPLE SPINACH!!! If I win this wonderful Wolf Gourmet High Performance Blender, the first thing I’ll do would be the start of a healthier lifestyle with a green smoothie drinking regimen. Of course, green smoothies alone won’t fix a poor diet, but they can make a good addition to a healthy diet, by consuming enough fruits and vegetables and hope these may be helpful in upping fruit and vegetable intake to lose weight in order to control my diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure.

I’m currently trying to fit more raw fruits and veggies in my diet for health reasons. I look like a lunatic at the local grocer and markets I’m sure, but it’s delicious. I’d definitely be making smoothies, but I’d probably be going a little crazy making soup for my family to help ease the cold weather. Either way!

With Valentine’s Day coming up, I would love to dazzle my sweetie with an avocado chocolate mousse that I would probably spike with a little hazelnut liqueur. He loves chocolate anything and the avocado would keep this treat on the healthier side of delicious. I think this Wolf blender is probably a better cook than I am and would handle the task nicely.

I’d have to think about that for awhile but I do know that the first thing I would do is finally get rid of my old Waring blender. It has served me well for at least 50 years but I have wanted a newer, stronger blender for a long time. Oh, I guess I would make that fresh marinara sauce that I use for spaghetti among many other dishes.

At the moment I am craving an old fashion milk shake so maybe the first thing would be an awesome MILKSHAKE!!!! I would absolutely love to have this blender. My Viramix is on its last gear and I am in desperate need of a new tool for my morning and evening routines. Basically I use the hell out of my blender and she is about to die. Every weekday morning I make shakes with a variety of ingredients, but the two common ingredients are a tablespoon of ground whole psyllium husks and a scoop of vegetable protein. From there I add either chocolate almond milk (I have a dairy allergy) or a no-sugar-or-water-added fruit juice blend and some fruit. I always keep frozen fruit on hand in case I run out of fresh. The protein fills me up, the almond milk gives me calcium, and the fruit and juice provide vitamins.
