A long time ago and old boyfriend gave me a basket as a gift. The boyfriend is long forgotten, but I can still remember that fruit! Amazing
I have never experienced one, but I’ve given plenty as gifts.
Since I live in Southern Oregon, of course I have! I had a neighbor who worked there. She’d bring me pears all the time. One year she gave me so many – bruised pears do NOT make it into their gift baskets – I had pear sauce and it was better than applesauce on pork chops.

I have recieved a Harry & David’s gift basket full of fruit when first married in 1974, it was delightful and yummy, I recall it did have pears in it..Oh, it would make our holidays very happy, fruit in all it’s fresh peaked spleandor and ready to make the family that receives it happy and healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lived in Florida for 12 years and would drive to Orland every Christmas to let my Boys go into the big walk in cooler to choose their Pear. I have also sent Harry and David gifs, But never received one. Very delicious!
When I was 20 and spending my first Christmas away from home out in Pittsburgh, my Aunt & Uncle sent me a 12 days of Christmas Harry & David Gift box/basket. My Roommate & I appreciated the wonderful gift and looked forward to each new day when we opened that day’s box.
Love Harry and David baskets! I get one every year from my best friend in Texas.
