OMG I need this blender. My NYC kitchen is so small that I keep my toys to an absolute minimum. No food processor, because I have a knife. No toaster, because I have an oven. No ice cream machine, no crock pot, no stand mixer. I’m even considering getting rid of my coffee maker and going old school. But I could never go without a blender and I would so love a great one.
I grew so tired of the leaky carafe of my Cuisinart blender that I tossed the whole thing. Now I have to use my food processor for everything or take a pass on menu items that require a blender. Getting a new blender has been on the to do list for a few months now but I lost my job last week and it will have to stay on the list for a few more months!

This is amazingly coincidental. Last night I tried to recreate a shish taouk (Lebanese chicken sandwich) that we had on vacation this summer. While I was making the toum (garlic mayo) in my 24 year old blender, I am pretty sure I saw some smoke coming out of it. It definitely got very hot, and I was mentally comparing blenders I’d seen on food blogs recently!

I would love to win this blender..My old one is ancient and can’t make up anything thick, would use the blender for drinks I need to keep hydrated with lots of veggies in it to get some great nutrients in me…Plus I would make up some butters for our meals and hummus and other things, I cannot make now due to no decent blender! Because I am a colon cancer patient, it is recommended that I improve my nutrition by drinking green smoothies and making concentrated soups and liquid meals using a blender. My old Vitamix gets a workout daily, several times a day in fact. The information on the Blendtec seems to indicate that it does a great job of pulverizing and blending, and would be an improvement in the quality and smoothness of these blended meals. Crushing ice in my old blender is less than perfect, and I also have trouble blending pineapple to the right consistency, so I think Blendtec would definitely be a better blender for icy mixes and such. This is my entry. I will tweet an entry also.
I would LOVE to have this Blendtec Blender!!! I recently tried making my own peanut butter in my mini food processor, but had to stop before I achieved smooth…the food processor was smoking!

I have this crummy blender that makes smoothies mooshy at best…but not totally blended. The first couple of sips always gives me the creeps but then I just get used to the consistency. I have not had the cash to buy a really good blender that lasts. But I sure am in love with the Blendtec!

Hi Cathy! Okay, you’re not going to believe me when I say this, but it’s true! My dog destroyed my last blender. He figured out how to get into the kitchen cabinets and pulled out the first thing he saw…the blender. He chewed on the base and destroyed the buttons and broke pieces of the glass pitcher. Fortunately he didn’t hurt himself on the glass or get to the blade, but it was quite the sight to find when I walked in the house! So, this is why I need a new blender. My crazy dog! He’s lucky he’s so cute.

I really could use a new blender. The blade on my blender quit spinning on Monday as I was making two fruit smoothies for breakfast before work. My husband and I had to eat chunky fruit smoothies for breakfast.

I would love a new blender because my family loves drinking smoothies! My husband is not a huge fan of fruit, but he will drink a smoothie now and then. His big hang up are the seeds. Our blender doesn’t pulverize the seeds that much and I think if we had the Blendtech, he would drink more smoothies, therefore my kids and I would drink more healthy drinks!

My 30 year old Oster recently decided it had made enough margaritas for the wife and I and went to small applicance heaven.
I have tried making our favorite drinks in :
1. Food processor = messy Fail
2. Hand mixer = REAL messy Fail
Please help us enjoy our quiet time cocktails again!
Btw – I also used the Oster to make sauces, gravies, homemade dressings, and even tapenade when the Oster was being “borrowed” for a weekend.

I make a smoothie every morning for breakfast, I have to defrost the frozen fruit the night before in the fridge so that it will blend in the blender. I like new stuff! Our blender is worn and it’s time for an new one. This one looks awesome.
I moved into a my first apartment and I don’t even have a blender! This would be amazing.
Last year I was making an ancho chili sauce, that was evidently too thick, as I was blending it my blender’s motor just stopped and a little pooft of black smoke entered the room.
I have a few iphones I’d like to blend into an apple smoothie.

I need a new blender…because I don’t have one! I’ve been using my stick blender.
My blender is 40 years old (handed down from my Mom) and while it works, is extremely noisy. And who wouldn’t need something this classy in their kitchen?
My daughter just watched a demo on the blender at Costco in Dallas and just had to have it! I decided with her two young girls, she could add alot of nurishment to their diets with this great machine and bought it for her. Recently on a visit, she made me morning smoothies that were just delicious and so packed with good nutrients that I immediately see where having the Blendtec would benefit her dad and I being in our sixties! I would love to have one!!!
I totally need a blender. I don’t have one, unless you count the magic bullet variety. (which is small and a pain to use for anything other than grinding coffee!) I have dreams of making better soups and shakes.

I am an Oregonian who has been following you on FB for quite some time, and now on Pinterest as well (thanks for posting that, I had no idea you were Pinning) and only buy Oregon wines to support our local economy.
I have 4 kids and we make smoothies on a daily basis so I can be sure everyone is getting their intake of healthy fruits, veggies and other super foods (like Chia seeds and extra fiber). My blender BROKE after several years of daily use, and my mom is loaning me her cheap one that doesn’t blend frozen ingredients worth a darn, and I just cannot at this time spend the money on another nice blender like this. It would be great to win one!

I need a new blender because when we first got our sweet basset hound (2 years ago), he literally ate the plug and cord off of our blender. After the cost of the vet visit (he’s fine), we never got around to replacing it and I’ve been relying on my food processor since.

I need a blender to process the herbs from my garden for winter. Great timing since my last blender just died!
I have a 10 year old chef in training who loves to experiment and make smoothies with all kinds of different ingredients. My last blender went smoking when our exchange student from Mexico tried to make cheesecake in it. We also love to make sauces and use up the herbs from the garden. If you put fresh herbs in the blender like basil & cilantro with olive oil, onion and garlic, blend it up and then put into mini ziploc bags and freeze. It’s awesome to throw into soup or spaghetti in the winter.

I have recently incorporated smoothies into my daily diet. My blender sits on the counter at all times. The Blendtec would expand my recipe options! This would not only benefit me, but my entire family! Just think….healthy optiond….smoothies, soups, and frozen yogurt. Yum!!

I am desperate for a new blender! Our blender was given to us in 1965, when we were first married, not as a wedding gift, but as a thank you gift from a couple who stayed with us for three weeks while he looked for a job and she sat home in our one-bedroom apartment reading magazines, watching TV, and messing up the kitchen. We never use that blender without thinking about them, and it’s a funny story now, but at the time we thought, “A blender? After all that, they give us a lousy blender?” But it still works on one speed. We do need a new blender!

Why do I need a new blender? My old blender is on its last legs – just as we are hitting the best weather for Mushroom Bisque, Spicy Corn Chowder, and Pea and Pesto soup. Nothing, not even my food processor, give the velvety finish to soups the way a blender does. And, I promise, as I make the soups with that fabulous blender, I will let everyone know that Noble Pig made the soups possible. I will announce it on Facebook (where I already follow you), in the Twttersphere, and from the rooftop, that Noble Pig made these noble soups available. I’ve never had a blender, and as a person who has CF and Diabetes type 1 this would be a great tool for me to make protein packed smoothies to help me maintain my weight. I moved into my apartment last September, it’s officially been one year! I’m still in the process of getting all of my cooking utensils, but right now most of it is just too expensive for a college girl. I’d love to use the Blendtec to make sauces, dips, and protein shakes. There’s so much cooking that I can’t do without one!

Well, I started following Noble Pig when I lived in Oregon – just about the time you started planting the vines. After 22 years in Oregon I moved back to NYC and enjoy following your blog and FB pages. The recipes are terrific and I’m glad to see your success. A new blender would be the icing on the cake for me – (literally!) And to have it be from an Oregon vineyard and Chef would be great. I started the CLEAN cleanse at the beginning of August and did the full three weeks and my 13 year old KitchenAid blender is not keeping up with my ongoing green shakes. This is much needed!

Along with my green shakes I am working on cooking and making healthier meals at home and it is vital to my health. I just spent the whole summer with my 88 year old grandmother in and out of the ICU and ER and various areas of the hospital post pancreatic cancer and a heart attack. If this summer has taught me anything (besides the importance of sleep) is that my health is the most important! I want to be healthy and this blender will be a FABULOUS tool to help ensure my health.

So another reason that I really want the blender is because I have a year and a half rescue puppy/dog and I know that the best quality food I can give her is food I make myself. Our three children are on restrictive diets and it is a challenge to keep food interesting as well as home made. It is also a challenge prepare food in a timely manner.
With the awesome Blendtec blender we could whip up everything from gluten-free bread and goodies, to soups, sauces, and smoothies in a manageable amount of time, leaving more time to enjoy as a family.
We also have a large garden, and a Blendtec blender would help us expand our options as to the uses of our produce. Cold soups, smoothies, other goodies could tantalize our taste buds if we had a Blendtec blender to whip them up.

We need a new blender because our daughter is a smoothie addict! My husband is a salsa addict and I use a blender daily in cooking fresh sauces and salad dressings. We are a fresh food only family! I make a killer tomato sauce using fresh Roma tomatoes! Our daily use blender is very tired and would like to retire to be replaced by the younger, snazzier, Blendtec!

Well, we managed to wear out the Ninja we had – so right now we are in need of one – it would be great to see if we can really go more than 2 years without having to replace our blender.

I have a blender that is beautiful, but not practical. It is narrow at the top, and large and round on the bottom. You can’t really scrape things out, like wine-a-ritas!

I’m moving in January and won’t be taking my room mate’s blender with me. I make a smoothie every morning for school or work, and it would be great if I didn’t have to buy one. Even better if I could get a nice one!
As a college student a new blender would make making quick smoothies and other meals much more practical and easier! I could definitely use a new blender!

Wow, I would love this blender. My blender was a wedding gift (so 9 years ago now…) and it can’t even handle making a milkshake! It’s a great tragedy to have an oreo shake that consists of a small blended portion, mostly unincorporated cookies, untouched ice cream, and a burned out-sounding motor. I suspect the blendtec could do it better!

I need a new blender because my old one is plastic and not glass and it’s got a crack in the rim, and it’s so old that only one of the buttons work (the pulse button) and it smells funny when I run it for too long, like it’s overheating. And I really really really want to make hummus!

Oooh, this blender sounds awesome. We could definitely use a new one, because ours is just a cheap one we got from Walmart a couple years ago. Half the time when we use it, it kind of gets stuck and stops pulling the food inside down to the bottom where it can actually be blended, and you have to stop it, shake it up a little, restart, etc. Having one that actually works well and can do multiple tasks would be fantastic!!

As much as I’d love this blender for myself, if I won I’d bring it to work. I am the culinary arts teacher at a career center. My students are seniors in their second year of the program. We’re in an area that was highlighted for being the first to take the recession hit. MSNBC even embedded a reporter here for a year. For the majority of our students, this is their first foray into the food world, but would you believe we don’t have a blender? We had a $10 one donated by a student, but we burned it out trying to do something that a standard blender can’t do.

I would love to have a BlendTec blender in my possession!! The possibilities are endless for the recipes I’d try. Probably nut butters would be first on the list and then a multiplicity of smoothie combinations.
What a generous giveaway! My son has sensory issues which relate to food and the only fruit or vegetable that he has eaten in his life of 8 years comes from a blender. This blender would broaden the types of food I could make for him as it purees everything so beautifully! I saw a demonstration once and would LOVE to have this tool in my kitchen. Thanks!

Right after I got married my husband and I bought an awesome little house. After a long day of moving into the house, with the help of our dear friends, strawberry daiquiris seemed the perfect treat! My hand-me-down blender gave out about half way through and my best friend dashed home to get another blender. That blender never went home with her! Thirteen years later, five states later, that is still the blender I still use today. It’s like a “rescue pet” no idea how old it is, it just keeps on going every year! I never worry about when it will give out because it has nine lives, it just keeps on giving:) Happy blending everyone!
My parents still have the same blender from when they got married 35 years ago! It is truly vintage and smokes when they try to blend anything! Yikes! They need a new blender fast!

I haven’t had a blender for the last four years, so I could sure use this.

Our blender literally went up in smoke a couple of years ago and hasn’t been replaced. We make lots of smoothies at home and use a hand blender, but a normal blender would make it so much easier! Beautiful give away.
I could use a nice blender because my 19-year-old son has run mine into the ground making protein shakes. But I’m happy he did because, with perserverance, he has lost 72 lbs., 2 lbs. over his goal, and continues to follow a very healthy diet and exercise regimine.
After 30+ years, 3 kids, mine is out of commission, but couldn’t decide what to replace it with and this would be perfect!
I actually do not have a blender but would really love to win this one. I miss being able to make frozen drinks and smoothies!
