Healthy Snack (#2)




Have you ever had almond butter?  It has great flavor and the fats are monounsaturated (a big plus).  Almonds are also packed with Vitamin E, magnesium and are a great source of fiber.

Make sure you give this snack a try.  It will get you through your afternoon without hitting the chip bag.

1 small banana
2 teaspoons almond butter
1 Tablespoon toasted shredded coconut

200 calories, 5g fiber, 4g protein, 8g fat

  3. Yum – that looks delicious! It would also be good with cashew butter, my mum gets it from http://www.cocopure.com.au/coconut-butter/butter-info/cashew/cashew.html and it is ridiculously good. Just thinking about it makes me want some now!!!
