I've had lots of welcoming emails from many residents in my new town this week. You are all the friendliest people I have never met!
As someone posted a comment yesterday saying they saw me in the local newspaper, this set off a barage of emails from many of my long time readers asking how they could find the articles.
You are all very persistant. I like that about you.
They were published earlier this week in the News-Register. You can find the first one here and the second article right here.
Have a great day everyone, more to come about a fabulous dinner we had last night. I have to be able to button my pants again before I can write about it.

Excellent articles, Cathy. And you know what? I didn’t know that about the Wild Boar. I guess I missed that part if you ever mentioned it on the blog. Sorry!
Great articles Cathy. I dont remember reading about your husband health troubles. No fun..But when one door closes another one opens. And it opened to your dream of wine!

Wonderful .. have fun .. you will and the site is brilliant – well done for starting it .. let alone clearing the Scotch broom, blackberries and Douglas firs!

Super articles! You are famous! Wow!
Taking lemons to make lemonade was truly embodied in your journey to the great NW! And welcome
I live up in Seattle, but if there was any place that could compete with the greenery up here it is Oregon. I hope you are able to make sufficient paths through the boxes etc. It took me about three months to make it look like I had unpacked…just don’t look in the closets…Enjoy your new adventure, mostly because I enjoy living vicariously through your blogs! Cheers!
